Some characters begin with a drawing. Trilo began with something much simpler — a paper plate, colorful pieces of tissue paper, and a child’s imagination.
With three curious eyes, golden horns, a big yellow-green snout, and a wonderfully messy mosaic of colors, Trilo was never meant to look like an ordinary lion.
And that’s what made him special.
From Paper Plate to Trilo
When we reimagined the original artwork, we wanted Trilo to become a fuller character without losing what made the creation real.
So we gave him a body — but kept the original paper plate.
Instead of leaving it behind, Trilo now carries it proudly on his back, almost like a little piece of home and imagination that travels everywhere with him.
His three eyes, colorful mosaic face, horns, and quirky personality remain unmistakably Trilo.
